I’m currently at a Masonic function. At this particular function, they like to break up the business meeting with some entertainment. Today, guitarist Tony Emmanuel did two sets. All I can say is wow! I had heard his name before, but had never heard him play. If you weren’t looking, you’d think there was a group of two or three guitarists playing, and a percussionist. But it’s just him. And he’s funny on top of it!

Looking forward to seeing him and Molly Tuttle at Bexhill on Sea in January
That’s awesome. I’d heard many rave about him so went to see him in concert well over 30 years ago. He started with a set on his electric guitar and while it was good, I didn’t understand what all the fuss was about. Then he brought out his acoustic guitar and I was well and truly blown away. I’ve seen him live another 3 or 4 times since then and thoroughly enjoyed it, what an entertainer besides being a guitar virtuoso

They put up a big announcement on the screen at the start of the session that no photographs or videos were allowed. Don’t know why.
Because it’s terribly annoying when everyone has their phone over their heads during a performance , 
… but before and after you’re free to take pictures, right?
but I understand that there are no pictures for us 
, as long as you have it in your brain and enjoyed it
