Attached is the link to my latest original composition about a life long friend and the best partner a guy could have (36 years married, known each other for 60 years). Really pleased with the music track, but I have reservations about the vocal… they’re a bit ropey in places. I did have about six different takes and many more attempts, but these were the best two. I may re-record at a later date and slow the tempo down a bit, so I can make some of the higher notes and maybe give it a completely different feel. I had tried to sing it in a number of keys, but it felt most comfortable in C. The only element not played by myself is the drum track. The soundtrack includes a guitar strung and tuned to the “kinda Nashville” tuning as mentioned by Justin. I spent too much time trying to collate snippets for the video, I’ll attempt to streamline that process with future offerings. Hope y’all like it, I know it’s not flawless.
