Thank you Justin ... so grateful

Hi Justin, I just wanted to say “Thank you”. Three years ago I was diagnosed with cancer (cured now thanks to our brilliant NHS). I got a guitar and started following your lessons avidly. Although I’m not very good I got immense pleasure from this and finally got to perform with my daughter. I’m sure your lessons helped in my recovery. Chris.

Welcome aboard, Chris, and so happy for you that you’ve got the cancer sorted
I know it’s popular these days to say the NHS is ‘broken’, but the missus works fulltime in it and does a lot of good work. I’ve had a hip replacement and a couple of cataract surgeries last year. I’m back in for a second laser treatment tomorrow. Not long waiting and top treatment. For FREE! :open_mouth:
More importantly, congrats on finding our ‘Guru’. Best online resource I’ve ever come across, For FREE! :open_mouth: and all lovely folk here in the Community…

(ps there’s a special thread for Thank yous here, including a musical tribute by some of the old gang )

Hello Chris & Welcome!!!

So glad that you found a “healing place” here to help you with the mental/emotional side of dealing with cancer… keeping up your spirits definitely helps with coping through times of stress!!!
Good luck with your musical journey ahead!!!

Easier to quote Brian than pretty much type out the same words. My daughter has worked in the NHS for 2 decades. Starting as an A&E Nurse and now emergency planning, for want of a simple explanation and boy do they need it now ! How wonderful that will have been to have played with your daughter.

Big welcome, get stucj in and enjoy the ride,

:sunglasses:
