I’m 70 and had forgotten about it until it cropped up here; remember it very well, and the rush to get back from the Pub to watch it
Almost choked on my wrap…
wow, thanks Darrell, that’s nice! Almost forgotten. Got a flashback . We watched almost every episode of Miami Vice, must be in 1985 or so. In 1986, I went to Florida for vacation with my parents, at the age of 17 and it was so great to see all the locations in Miami. We stayed in this striking Fontainebleau Hilton Hotel, shown in the opening credits of the series for a few days. That was amazing.
But I bet you looked something like this @brianlarsen ?
Enjoy your gigging with Justin tomorrow Rogier.
Ooo Stefan,
There is a picture of me somewhere (and I think more than one) that I looked something like Chandler but with blond hair(not such a pretty face) (much more muscular) and no beard growth at all …Oke,only the clothes
And tomorrow would be yesterday, and yesterday is going to be another day that isn’t fixed yet,
Greetings…
Pretty much, 'cept for the looks… and I had no friends
Oh, well when it does finally roll around, enjoy.
I don’t believe that last bit for one second Mr Larsen.
Looking at 80s fashion, there are times when I rejoice at being born in the mid 50s.
Then I remember tank-tops, loon pants and flares so wide folks were living under them.
And my world comes crashing down.

For those born in the early 50’s you could add in hipsters, psychedelic shirts and kipper ties, also black jumper with one narrow red coloured stripe down from your left shoulder, never really understood that one but you just had to have one.
I blame it all on Carnaby Street
Cheers
Michael
Lucky to be born the right side of '55 but only just ! You missed cravats. What was that about,
At least we all miss ruffs … now I am think of that famous birdbrain Percy and some of his ruffs
Toby
I had forgotten about cravats but do you remember those shirts with a round colour that just like clergyman wear, really strange. Went to the school dance wearing it, as were many others, there was a local heavy rock band, not the ideal attire for “head banging”
Ok enough reminiscing for one day it is starting to make me feel old.
Michael
Unfortunately my hair flew away a long time ago
With Rogier’s fly away hair and your already flew away hair you could form a Tenacious D tribute band
Good luck with the face to face with the Boss. Enjoy and make the most of it. Look forward to reading all about it.
