What are you currently listening to 2025?

Hmm, that Mike Portnoy video was sort of like me trying to transcribe some complicated guitar/bass parts

As more of a groove-oriented person, I think this drumming lesson about triplets is quite cool:

Who wouldn’t like to have a teacher like that? “Ain’t nothin’ but rebound” could be a nice album title, too.

Great event, PRS 40th Anniversary Celebration. Lots of high profile personalities there including Dany from The Warning, the highlight for her was when Orianthi gifted Dany her own PRS custom select stock guitar!

I like Samantha Fish. She must Like the pelway song If I were a catfish.

I was getting my Funk action on as I was cleaning up and organizing my notes and everything last night for today.
These were my last two songs on spotify before sleeping. So good.

I just listened to Mothership Connection a few days ago. VERY Funky! Funktastic even!

I am listening through the Rolling Stones Top 500 Albums of all time and that was #363.

I love these funky beats, if you listen deep there is a lot going on in the background of these funk grooves.

Some more pending releases, feat Jimmy Page no less.
EDIT: The box set release is new, not the song.

Narcisco Yepes playing Bach: very old school, very beautiful music. Watch the changes from c. 4:00 minutes: he could give Jimmy a run for his money!

EDIT: Not the be confused with the other act of the same name.

1 guitar, 1 bass, 1 drummer (RIP Rick) = 1 helluva band. Always loved how this one ends.

A young newish band who ROCK!!!

Another young band from Canada, all still at High School and they’re seriously good! The recording venue was an unheated barn, pretty cold!

And their first single
