What an amazing riff. I see Justin has a lesson on this song. Not sure if I’m brave enough to have a go at it.

The whole album Reggatta de Blanc is really good. Walking on the moon is awsome also. The polices early stuff had a heavy reggae influence. Hence the name of the album.

Go for it chris. Justins lesson for this song is a lot of fun.

I’ve been listening to a bit of Scottish folk/rock called Beluga Lagoon, which is basically one guy but he often is accompanied by a full band. I saw him in Edinburgh on my birthday just before Christmas. He did a solo set with plenty of use of a looper. I found a video someone took at the gig…

I would love to play this. I can not figure out the strumming pattern.
I think it is. DDD U UD DUDU but it but it is not 4/4 or 8th. It would work if the last part is played faster.

I don’t know that’s not what you said earlier @metramaks when I recommended it to you. But yeah, amazing voice indeed. :musical_notes:

This is great. I love discovering new music. I wasn’t aware of this artist.

I had the pleasure of seeing this band perform live in Bristol a couple of years ago. They’re all wonderful musicians. This is a beautiful cover of a classic song by Shania Twain.

I live in Asheville NC and I saw Black Stone Cherry in concert at our Orange Peel venue late last year. This was a great song and a pleasure to watch, good group!

I don’t have that one song, but I have been big on a Billy Strings/Molly Tuttle kick. That flat picking style of modern bluegrass is interesting to me recently trying new picking styles and learning some of those tricks. It helped me with picking accuracy and speed as a result. John Mayer will always be a favorite and that won’t change. Chris Stapleton is a big one recently. Any of his live performances where he is giving the guitar the business it is amazing to listen to.

I’m listening to some John Mayor songs. I’m learning Slow Dancing In A Burning Room.

That is one of the songs that I wanted to learn to play guitar, so I could learn and play it. I am jealous. Hopefully I will get enough talent to do that myself one of these days.

I keep hoping Larkin Poe will make a stop here. I would love to see them in concert. This is one I really like.
