Oooh, that’s very nice!!
Yep, right here!! ![]()
I got some christmas money, but can’t decide on which octave pedal to buy…
The Sub 'n Up is very nice, but has an app? (don’t need that), the Boss OC-5 really is nice, but thats (again) another boss pedal, the mxr poly octave is great, but expensive…
The Third Man Triplegraph are really sweet, there are 2 both Jack white specials but the yellow ones I think are the hard to find and fetch a premium. I dont have one but got to play with one and saw some inner workings of the whole deal, plus some guts and circuits and watched jack discuss and show how he uses it and how he came up with the idea. It’s really nice and sound amazing.
You will have to hunt one down but they are out there. You wont be sorry if you do the leg work. It also could be a nitch type of pedal too.
I am a big fan of JHS pedals also. JHS I think has 3 real solid and cool octive pedals. The 3 series octive reverb, the lizard octive distortion and the Dunlop JH -octivo jimi hendrix sig. Variable pricing.
Octive pedals it really depends on if your looking for clean and before the effects or effect driven. They are really cool. Especially the high and low ones. Keep us informed.
Edit: sprry to answer the question between the two you mentioned, you cant go wrong with mxr if you are looking for a more analog sound. You probobly can find some good samples on you tube.
Nice! great choices! The Jiva is a beautiful guitar! ![]()
Thanks!
Maybe it wasn’t wise of me to buy my first guitar based on looks rather than playability, but I’ve loved the Jiva ever since I saw her, and I know myself well enough to know that if I’d bought any other guitar, I would have regretted it and probably would have bought the Jiva as well. ![]()
Great to hear… I know we are not spoiled for choice however there are still some bargains to be had
I got Furch factory tour and Eddie from Stranger Things. ![]()
Also I ordered Telecaster for myself with custom pickups. ![]()

Shocking news Michal
A telecaster ? The return of the electric guitar Michal? Will we see you soon in the blues immersion ? ![]()

And perhaps Rock immersion
@math07 Yes, I am little bit unchained now when it comes to buy new guitar. ![]()
I got ready “Complete Unknown Bob Dylan” on USB, so I can see how to transfer.
To prove how much unchained I am I also ordered Nucleo… different topic where we found out it is NOT racional buy. ![]()

What is your plan for this electric ? Stick to fingerstyle like Mary Spender ?
@math07 nice vibe, playing and singing. Well I dream high, but I am realistic… I hope one day I could play free everything and transfer feelings from my brain to notes. ![]()
I ordered pick-ups mainly for fingerstyle and for future 4 way switch upgrade, but I would love to give a try to pick too. On my journey I found out many times that everything is connected, so pick can make me better fingerstyle player. If that makes sense.
My role model is still Paul Davids who can play every technique… would love to play like Eddie Van Der Meer too. One day.
But having Tele is really openning the door for BLIM.
Edit: For the BLIM, I am really realistic… I am still pure advanced beginner and I am not ready for that yet. That is reason why I would like to give a try to pick with Tele, so I can level up my playing and maybe one day… going for that.
Sadly still waiting for mine to arrive its a new fx pedal, ill shed some light when the post decides to turn up cheers Hec
Beautiful guitar! I got a couple Gibson LPs myself.
I’ve spent 47 years reading everything and now I’ve got to go and do it all over again. ![]()
I love them, I’ve already spent hours looking though all of the illustrations. It was a very fitting gift too, I received my first paperback LOTR for Christmas`79, and I’ve been life long reader since.
The Silmarillion can be tough. It can help to approach it as an unfinished work and read it is as a 5 part reference which fills in the backstories found in the other two books. Internet nerdom can tell you which parts fit where in seconds if you ever want to give it another go. ![]()
Seeing that bass however, I don’t think you’ll have much time for reading. And, you are going to love EQ pedals, they’re magic.
Can’t remember if it was Christmas or a birthday present, I got LOTR in about '83
I got some cash this year. Haven’t decided what to get, may well get a book and some guitar related accessory.
