What is the first song you learned to play?

I just bit the bullet and got the app. I’m currently ham fisting Buffalo Springfield For What It’s Worth. It’s so much fun. I was scared of changing chord on the beat, but I’m managing to do it more often than not, I love the E to D to A progression and find myself quite happily repeating that loop endlessly.

Pretty sure it was Poor, Poor Pitiful Me - the Warren Zevon version. Then Linda Ronstadt’s. I still play them a lot and use Warren’s to warm up before I practice.

It was either -For what its worth, Buffalow Springfield
or Horse with no name, America
Both can be played with a few basic chords starting out.

Gloria. Van Morrison (Them) around 1965.

How to save a life - The Fray or
Chocolate Jesus - Tom Waits

Horse With No Name was my first song

Talk tonight by Oasis, pretty much the song that made me buy my first acoustic.
