Why is the blues called 'the blues' and not

… the reds, or the greens?

Red is angry.
Green is envious.
Blue is sad.

That’s great, you get it. Just singing about the greens gives me the blues!

Ooops

Deep Purple,

is akin to disgust, distaste, disdain or even loathing.

Does Ritchie even know?

:joy::joy::joy: I’m not allowed to eat sprouts so not applicable to me; I cleared a classroom at school when I was forced into eating them at dinner time, despite telling them that I wasn’t allowed to eat them! The consequences just served them right :dash::dash::dash::joy:

I love sprouts, especially roasted with pine nuts!

So the blues are sad but I guess not like country and western sad where the wifes run off with your neighbour and your dogs died!

The blues are more about life and how life can screw you over. Country is more about loosing material things

“Mom took sick along in December
February brought us broken hearts…”

And buying Gingham

That’s about a normal day for me Darrell. :joy:

Just play it backward… everything comes back to you!
