Has anyone started learning any Xmas songs yet I had ago at Merry Xmas everybody by Slade earlier needs some work haven’t played it for a while.

Shane, funny that you should mention Mariah Carey. This post jogged my memory that I had purchased Justin’s Christmas Songbook last December and hadn’t looked at it since then. The first song to learn in December was Mariah Carey’s well known song that I don’t even need to name. I thought that the Lennon and Oko song Happy Xmas (War is Over) looked interesting (how many songs do you have a chance to play a Badd11 chord, which I believe is a lifted barre Bm and an Eadd9 which shows a variation of the chord in the E chord explorer in module 22) and the tabbed fingerstyle traditional songs in the back look challenging.
So did I. Never did anything with it. In fact, your post reminded me that I even have it!

I started this this week with 2 Christmas songs ,and one is,
Have fun 
They have been selling Christmas-related sweets here for like at least a month, Mariah is definitely late. 
If I started now might be ready for next Xmas looks a bit beyond my skill set but will give it a go
Justin’s Christmas songbook is still available on Amazon.
The songs are graded and some are very straightforward.
