Edge and a Samsung Book 8 laptop
Thanks! Weāre looking into it and will get back to you.
Thank youā¦
Hey @NolaBill
I need your help! Our dev team tried to reproduce the error but didnāt succeed.
Could you try to āinspectā your browser so we might find a clue of whatās causing the problem?
Hereās what weād like you to do:
- Go to Preferences > Advanced > enable āShow Develop menu in the menu bar.ā
- Go to the song page and open the developer tools console by pressing āCommand+Option+C.ā
- Launch Autoscroll and see if any errors pop up in the console.
Could you send us a screenshot of that test? Big thank you, and sorry for the hassle!
Ok, stupid question. Where do I find Preferences? Iām not particularly computer savvy. On another note, I did an experiment and signed into JustinGuitar on my desktop, and I did not have any problems with the Autoscroll. Perhaps the problem is in my laptop. Iāve had battery problems in the past and some internal parts were damaged.
Hey - Iāll be taking over this issue for now! Glad to hear itās working on your desktop. If you still want to check, try right-clicking anywhere on the page with your mouse, and select Inspect. Cheers
Fanny,
I did what you recommended and that seemed to clear up the Autoscroll problems with my laptop. I donāt know how, but it worked. Thank you so much. Now, does that same technique work to fix bad guitar playing?
Yay Iām glad to hear that! Cheers & best of luck on your guitar journey
Thanksā¦
I am currently experiencing the same issue the OP brought up. While using the TAB for Sweet Virginia the auto scroll stops periodically causing me to have to stop playing and click on the tab to get it to continue. It scrolls for a bit and then stops again.
I am using Edge with Windows 11.
I tried right clicking and going to Inspect. It lists a number of errors but I donāt know what to do about them.
This happens on both my desktop and my laptop.
Thanks for you help.
Hi, Autoscroll not working for me either - Windows 11, Firefox 118.0.1 Doesnāt work in Edge eitherā¦
FWIW Iām looking at The Stonesā Dead Flowers, but issue seems to be the same on other songs I tried.
Hope you can help! Thanks
Found this thread, so didnāt want to start a new one (mods: please feel free to separate it into a new thread if thatās more appropriate).
I use Safari on my MacBook Air (Mac OS Ventura 13.5.2 and Safari 16.6). Autoscrolling just stopped working on Safari for me yesterday. I havenāt installed any new updates on either the OS or any new extensions in Safari. Autoscrolling does work however on Chrome which Iād rather not use on MacOS.
Please let me know if thereās anything I can do on my side to get it working on Safari again or if itās something from the site itself.
Hi, see also AutoScroll Issues - #12 by Aiden_Arcadia

@ Fanny_JustinGuitar_Team I enabled the console, no errors are showing up when clicking the start/stop button (this issue is occurring for all song pages, not just this specific song):
My system & app info for your reference:
Hi,
