A lucky escape there @jkahn. Not likely to happen that way again.
I’m on the hunt too for some monitors atm, to both save my ears, and to get more of a ‘room feel’ for what I’m playing. Lots of options I’ve found. Just lookin for something entry level, not too pricey, but decent. KRK Rokit, Presonus, Alesis Elevate have made my list so far. The Yamahas seems great, but I can’t justify ( or afford) spending that much on a first purchase. Anyway more research and learning to do yet.

Recommendation for some monitors to my Scarlett 2i2

Hi folks, this time I need a piece of advice Looking for some nice monitors on my desk to connect with Scarlett 2i2 (I believe it has left and right ports at the back). I want interface to be always connected to my laptop and don’t want to switch over to laptop speakers all the time if I want to listen to some music etc. What would be best for this solution? Room is quite small so doesn’t have to be a banger just something not too big and ideally on top of my desk perha…
