Mid 20s this weekend. Was supposed to rain but hasn’t. Thunderstorms due, not arrived !!
Ran around like a blue arsed fly to get all my fields cut this afternoon and still dry !! Can’t complain, pleasant run up by Mont St Michel this morning. Meteo France seem to be clueless as far as prevues are concerned. Adapting the “roll up the shutters and look outside approach” !
they sacked a lot of employees lately and its mostly run through AI
thats why its not reliable
Im using another forecast app but its not that great either
yesterday it was saying that the heat will stay and tonight , its the complete opposite
Well according the MF I am in for a bumpy night !
and equally bumpy day !!
Might impact my planned recordings, because if the forecast pans out I am bound to lose power at some point in the day ! Memo to self, don’t use the treadmill !

my familly keeps on telling me : " thats not how its called ! " , for many objects
Good morning, Deborah! You seem to have slipping issues with your guitar stap, as you mentioned it for several times.
I bought a “Levys Cotton Strap” for my acoustic (it’s also available for electric and bass). Simple woven cotton strap with the end out of leather, inexpensive, very light, very comfortable, and: it doesn’t slip on shirts. Doesn’t look very exciting, but by far the most comfortable strap I own.
thanks for the tip
I bought another leather strap , the one i own is great and i feel comfortable with it … I shouldnt have tried something more sophisticated to replace it
but I should try a cotton strap once to feel the difference , so thank you for the advice
Ill try it
I just sent back the webcam … I hope the next one will work this time
Keep us informed !
I still have issues with some of the items I bought …
I m trying to sort it out before posting about it
I wanted to play but I received an email from the guitar teacher asking for a playlist on spotify
It will help him to know what music I like to listen
so i m spending my afternoon listening to music on spotify trying to find the songs that represents the best what i like in music
its not an easy exercise , there are soooo many songs I like
so I did this :
There looks like a good mix for them to go at there. In my case it would be an interesting because if I made a similar list, essentially nothing that I’m learning currently would be on my list! It’s not that I’m learning songs that I don’t like but I listen to a lot of hard rock and metal that I consider way too difficult for me to learn at the moment. The songs I’m learning are definitely songs I like just not necessarily the first ones I’d listen to
Since he asked about what we like to listen to , I didnt take into account the difficulty
I think its more about knowing if we like blues / pop / metal / folk etc
I added only 2 french songs so I hope he takes the hint that Im not into french music
I added some japanese songs since I listen quite a lot to japanese music
I didnt add any medieval music / luthe music , I should add some
I think you did right - I’ve stayed away from a lot of the music I like purely because I’m teaching myself and would have no clue where to start with it. It’s maybe something a teacher can help me with in the future but for now I’m happy doing what I’m doing

Good news hidden somewhere in the description of your practice routine. I saw you mentioning song lists being collected. Is it a group setting then after all?
I asked to have one on one lessons , he said no problem
it should be ok on this matter , its 30 mins lesson just like you , once a week
Sounds good. Hopefully the one on lesson will be as beneficial for you mine are for me. Looking forward you your report
its always good to have someone face to face telling you what you re doing wrong
its really hard to assess your own learning
I sent him an email telling what lessons I was following and apps I was using
I just hope that the guy will be nicer than the one I went to before
