I bought a mic recommended by Alexei
a Mackie EM Chromium
you can directly plug the guitar in the mic , use a headphone , blend the sound of the guitar with the computer as you like it , its awesome
About the BMG Guitar … theres a story
When I got the guitar , the pick ups didnt work
I had to make a video proving that there was no sound on one of the pick ups
Even worse , the broken pick up was disabling the other two pick ups … something was very wrong !
so I sent it back
Got another guitar a week after and … the tremolo bar didnt fit into the hole
it was the wrong model for the bridge …
So I bought a tremolo bar on Thomann and I m still waiting to hear from the guitar dealer about this issue
they dont have this tremolo bar in stock so they had to contact Brian may guitars and they are still waiting for an answer
The one I bought seems to fit
Impressive array of kit. The Brian May Guitar looks lovely: hope you get the tremolo. Enjoy playing, recording, listening, editing, listening again and maybe sharing some of your productions. Whatever you get up to, enjoy it.
Where to start Deborah ! Christmas has really come early. Some great kit there and Mackie mic are really good for what you pay and that model should certainly suit your needs.
Today I just played various songs to set up the webcam in OBS and practiced the la Bamba riff with harmony notes
So far I managed to record a video with the sound from the webcam or the sound from the scarlett ( or the mic )
If I use the sound from the webcam I have my guitar and the backing track , but the sound is … meh
If I use the sound from the scarlett the sound from my guitar is great but I have no backing track …
