Errr… if that’s tide out and you’re feet are in the water, how did you get there without getting wet?
I don’t see a canoe/boat. Did someone ferry you out and will pick you up again before you drown?
I had to wade a bit. But it was well below my knees.
Cheers,
Keith

Yes it was built a few years before your visit, about 150 years.
A very prominent local landmark. The National Trust in recent years have on a limited number of days a year opened it up so you can walk around the top. Not done it yet but on my bucket list.

Usually I am in Southwest Florida the end of June. Last year the hurricane wiped out my resort and most of the area. There’s a rental car guy there that also plays guitar and invited me for a jam session last year. We guitar players all stick together
The sky in that first picture looks very cool.
That was the view from the back patio of my hotel suite. There was no camera filter just natural lighting. It was beautiful to see.
We just moved to a little west of Denver. Very green with the rain!

Back deck:
- Sewer🤦🏼♂️
It looks very open and green there. The back deck looks like a great guitar practice location in front of a portable fire pit.
@JokuMuu . Hi Nicole,
I thought since you mentioned palm trees this is mission bay, which is about 20 minutes from my house. I used this as a screen saver for my work video meeting background for a while.
Oooooh… That’s beautiful. Thank you
Hi Joshua, nice surrounding, nice place for long dog walks. Part of my family lived or lives in/close to Denver. I visited them back in 1988 and had a great time there. We made a round trip starting at Denver through Colorado, Arizona, Utah and New Mexico. I wish I could come back to the US. Unfortunately, all, exept from two, passed away in the meantime. They bought a nice house somewhere at golf court after I’ve left. Good luck for the moving and hopefully at least a little bit of practice time!
Jeff, what a beautiful place to live! I visited San Diego back in the 90ties. I remember Coronado with the military base. First time I saw an aircraft carrier in real life (from the far). We had family living in California, close to LA, visited them and went also Down to San Diego and the Mexican border. Say hello to the Pacific Ocean! It’s so beautiful!
Been meaning to post a few local pics but around the house its just wall to wall wheat and mace/corn fields.
But I took my daughter up to one of our local beaches (about 39 minutes away) and did some snapping. This is Genets and Dragey on the east side if the Bay of Mont St Michel.
Hi Toby,
Those are some great pictures. Was that last one s jellyfish?. I always find the beach to be a relaxing place to go. My wife has been taking me to our beaches late at night s few times this past month. The idea is to go when all the tourists are in bed. I play my guitar and strum like the tide of the ocean. No specific pattern just whatever sounds good.
I’ve been working on playing in near darkness to stop clutching to my song book all the time as a crutch. Im hoping for a good showing at the open mic and practicing at the beach sometimes. Our beaches are about 25 minutes from my house, so about the same.
Photos from where you live ???.. you probably have no idea but in 40 minutes I will be in Germany
greetings…
Yeah spot on Jeff, you need to be careful where you tread but these ones are not big, about 5 inches across and I had trainers on. It was not the weather for sun bathing. Like you I avoid the tourists, so we shot out early and hit the beach about 9:40 for a half hour walk.
Like the idea of going after sundown and playing. Great place to play, great ambience by the look of it. My cousin lived in to Santa Monica in the late 70s, Ex Bunny and croupier on cruise ships before moving to Phoenix about 20 years ago.
Most of it is of course our garden … the restaurant is about 300 meters from here
and from here I sit watching and answering you all…
Beautiful garden… And so much work, I guess Beautiful close-up of the musical bumblebee as well
