Pink Floyd: One of These Days (cover)

I’ve seen those videos from Justin but it’s been a while. I may give it a shot again. Thanks!

WOW! Brilliant stuff!

 Unbelievably fantastic!

Amazing one man Floyd!
Richard

@swoosh @gtc52 @Richtrfc Thank you for the kind words guys!

My wife just watched this video and told me I need to dayum well clean up my “studio” (a.k.a. table in the dining room). At one point there’s clearly a product placement advert for NeilMed Sinus Rinse. Click on the link in the description and use the code NOTASHILL for 50% off your first box of 100

:love_you_gesture::rofl: damn, Phil. Each time you’ve posted these recently I’ve thought ‘wow, doesn’t get much better than that’ and yet  each time you just raise that bar a little bit higher :exploding_head:

Insane production all round, I like the little quips like the lasers :rofl:

You’re a legend Phil :+1:

This so just wow - great work and for sure lots of hours to get sound, timing and all instruments right. Stunning!

If I may jump in as a grade 2 beginner.

I’m enjoying learning the following

If
Echoes
Fat Old Sun
See Emily Play
Brain Damage

I regret that I have only one heart to give to you. This made my day. You had me trippin’ and laughin’ at the same time. The laser light show was spectacular, and “One of these days I’m going to learn to play the bass” had me laughing so hard I had to play it again.

Truly it was a wonderful tribute to one of my favorite bands. Keep 'em coming!

Fantastic!! I love it!

@CD02 @andyPlays @wiredforsound @rcwilcox @C_McG Thanks for the interest in Cheapo Floyd guys!

I actually cheat on the timing Andy. I import the track I want to base everything off into my DAW (Reaper) and use that as the basis for timing the parts. For some songs you can do that with a click track instead but for proggy type music there’s often free-form parts with no beat, so a bit of cheating helps!

Brilliant! One of my favourite albums from my favourite band.

Now, can you do Echoes next

Thanks Dave! Agreed, Meddle doesn’t get as much love as the “big four” albums, but I think it’s just as good.

If anyone is up for a collab, I’d be very happy contributing to Echoes!

The basic acoustic version of Echoes is pretty easy with just the 3 verses and bridge.

Am,Em,Dm,E; x2
A,E,Dm,E,F,Am;
Am,F,Am,F,Am,F,C,G,G#,Am

I find this is a good intro to playing barre chords.

I don’t have a capo so I play a few keys lower, easier for me to sing also. I think it should be capo’d at 3rd fret.

Outstanding Phil. Different class. Thank you for sharing.

Great stuff! I enjoy listening to it and especially like the bass effects.
Thanks Withold

So so great and it must have taken you a lot of work to produce this. Really enjoyed listening. I’m a big fan of David Gilmour and this caught my eye. Thanks for sharing, Susan

Wow, just wow! The slide guitar, the echo effect on the bass and the shimmer of the cymbals… Great playing on all the instruments, wonderful production!

This is one of my favorite early Floyd songs, and I love the version from the Live at Pompeii album.

@Blobbyblob @witkatz @SusanW @Beatup6String Thank you very much all!
