OK bit of an update - had a new arrival which has caused much acoustic strumming, still not really cracked on with more lessons but a lot of time at the fretboard is helping, still struggling with some fingerpicking , watching Justins alternative tuning video.

OK with some minor adjustments just played through this start to finish and done OK, not perfect or upto speed but very encouraging…
We’ve a new kitten doing its best to distract me but he really loves my guitar playing comes over to listen then lies down and chills out…

OK I still live! I’m working on 3 of Justion Johnstons pieces at the moment really got stuck into the fingerpicking things and will head back to JG grade 3 soon haha
So apparently its my 1 year anniversary on Justin Guitars website
Updates on my thread have kinda slowed, as has my progression through lessons being somewhere in the beginner 3 course but progress still continues!
I’ll get back to the lessons one day soon, but playing a lot of fingerstyle has taken up a lot of time recently and thats been fun.
Just been blasting out some RATM bombtrack though with a friday beer and kicking back letting loose and thats also good!
I’d like to thank Justin once again for providing both the huge volume of lessons on his website plus all the support tools and forum etc. Doubt he’ll personally read it but who knows!

Bombtrack is fun to play, I do bits of that one sometimes as well. How’s the intro though?! Super fast, too fast for me… need more practice

Congratulations Rob on your 1 year anniversary. I can totally relate to getting side tracked with fingerstyle blues. I have no idea what RATM Bonbtrack is so that’s something I’ll have to look into when I’ve got some free time especially if it goes well with beers and kicking loose.
