A little hesitation to write this down now, but after 7 days green I dare to do it .
After a few days (which I thought was a little too long) I received a message from Thomann that after their failed update of my Line 6 I should now try myself and received a link with a 14 point approach … I was rather disappointed because I was hoping for a new one now … but who knows, maybe it could be solved in one day…
So just waiting until my wife was home to get the right cable in the computer and possible help with those technical things that she …well she is not me . … Due to circumstances, this was possible the first 2 evenings ,fortunately I could use the transmitter sinds it got back for at least 45 minutes/ hour … only when I put it in the charger it start acting strange again with it continuing to flash red or flashing green after half an hour and then quickly red again…
But now the good… about 8/10 times I took out the transmitter and pressed the metal pin under the transmitter (I once read that this was good for something just when I bought it in case of a certain malfunction, but I already had this done before before he went back to Thomann) and day 2 that I did that occasionally, at the end of the afternoon it suddenly remained green / stable without blinking so it was fully charged …
It works better now than it did before the malfunctions started many weeks ago… I don’t understand it at all and it seems as if the updates from Thomann (because I didn’t do anything) needed time to start working. … just writing this down feels so ridiculous … yes, I don’t know, but it works again and therefore better than ever - charges faster - certainly lasts the full promised time (that’s 8 hours and I certainly I tested for 7.5 hours)…
My last AVOYP was with cable and that was very good to do again, because now I am extra happy with my last AVOYP (and knowing that I was crossing my fingers that morning to see if it would continue to do it)
Sometimes I’m jealous of people just with their acoustic unamplified guitar and no gear stuff …just really sometimes ,I like some gear a lot
Morning Rogier,
I’m feeling a tiny bit guilty, as I had read about your problems with the Line 6 transmitter, but never commented
I ran into what sounds like similar problems about 6 months ago. Red light. Not charging. Not transmitting. I thought I had tried everything but to no avail. I went back a couple of months later and Hey Presto! It works again flawlessly I have no idea whether it was something I did or simply a ghost in the machine, but happy days. It does sound like there is a bug somewhere in the system, but good to see you making hay while the sun shines.
Regarding the performance:
Careful with that axe, Rogier!
All that headshaking, eyebrow-wiggling and smiling can be dangerous when you’re playing guitar in charge of a vehicle…
I’m glad to see you didn’t leave out any of the thumb-plucks this time.
Let’s call the slight hesitation before the final chord ‘artistic interpretation’
Bravo! (Tech is fun!)
Hi Brian,
Hope you have a nice trip and was able to enjoy some family time.

Thank you and for dropping by and I promise (Yes) that in januari I (with …kuch ’ some ’ kuch… help from Hermine (she looked a little last summer and gives me hope) I start learning The Ableton beast …I feel an itch/want to do it
Glad you got it sorted Roger. Which model were you using ? I’ve been contemplating going wireless the deeper and deeper into BLIM I got and the countless times I tripped over cables !
If I take that route I’d like to avoid a “suspect” package !
Thanks , and once again i am very happy with it now , I have read (also from other wireless) that sometimes a simple software update is needed, but next time I hope they immediately send me a link so that I can try it at home first so that I am not without it for so long. (my wife just said, order another transmitter …uh …maybe next time)
Other than that I am very satisfied with it, I often sit about 5 meters away and despite the advice not to let other wireless equipment in between because that can cause interference, I have never had a malfunction/outage…
Have fun choosing , now it’s the time for the offers and you now know that you want wireless … go for something
This post is entirely for myself and as a reminder of a few things…Or Davidp wants to hear a verbatim “Merry Christmas” at the end (you’re busy so I won’t tag you if you don’t see it, nothing has been missed )

To brighten up this shortest day, a very old (children’s) joke that I received yesterday for the umpteenth time, and I always have to chuckle a bit about it.
Exactly thirty winter solstices ago, I married my love
Google tells me that pearls are the appropriate gift.
Unfortunately, I’ve cast all mine before my grunting guitar buddies, so shall have to revert back to the woes of wooing again…
Wish me luck
Oh Brian you’re just an apprentice. My wife and I celebrate 46 years next April.
Congratulations, a lovely pearl necklace will be the perfect gift. We as your guitar buddies are perfectly happy having your obscure but artistic performances cast before us.
