I wish I had not thought “what does this button do ?” That reminds me of one of our first chickens but I’ll leave it there !!

Hey Rogier…love the first recording! Can’t say much about the other two as I can’t understand and I lack knowledge of what licks are and the language of Blues…I guess one learns these short phrases for putting them in a contest later.?.anyway you sound really cool! Thanks for sharing!

That was great Rogier, very smooth and accurate. With some variations you have enough for longer (i.e. 2 x 12 bars) improvisation, I would love to hear that.

Hi Brian ,
TJeemig De Peemig :scream: :joy:  :joy: … clicked on that late last night on my phone with my girl standing at my back ,she almost cried with laughter…those legs that kept sticking out of that mouth :see_no_evil: … I knew the video but it was a while ago and it was nice and special to see again, at the end you expect that seagull to jump up and down a few more times to lower the rabbit further

so many times so many times

:scream: :see_no_evil: ,I have several friends with a house and a lot of land and hobby animals… also various types of chickens that run around completely freely… …but also a lot :eagle: (or actually something smaller … like a Sparrowhawk which I have also had twice in the garden near the window for fifteen minutes or more, once a blackbird and once a pigeon (I have photos somewhere on this computer, but I will have to make do with a Google pic)

and behind our fence on the lawn there is a mountain of plucked feathers from some bird at least once a month…

But it’s different with your own chickens :grimacing:

Ps : Thank Brian  …google gives me now a lot of funny and brutal animal videos :joy:

Hi Silvia @Silvia80
Welcome here  , thank you

Well, let’s put it briefly, in a simple way… you can say that a lick is 1 word… put 2 or 3 or 50 in a row and you have a long sentence, also called solo …

It’s so easy to learn whatever on guitar with a little time every day or week  even monkeys can learn to play the guitar

Hi Boris @Boris1565
Thank you  ,You are absolutely right and I should spend a little more time on that again for a decent whole solo… it is really on the wish list… the oh so long wish list, but this should take priority by the Blim so double right you are :see_no_evil:… but I’m in no hurry at all, I notice :grimacing:… But I’m definitely going to do it :sunglasses:

Lots of Kestrels and Buzzards here ! But none have taken out one of the chickens in 12 years.

I’ll like to watch the Crows badgering the raptors when they stray into their territory !
Had Kestrel pluck a Sparrow out of the air, just inches away from me, as I was the other side of the patio doors. I was expecting it to collide with the glass but he pulled up and out like a jet fighter at mac 3 !! Always something to watch and hear. Now its the Tawny Owl chorus at dusk and dawn. Just hope they stay away from the chimney !

Hi Toby @TheMadman_tobyjenner ,

Oooo so you have you caged them.

Yes that is very nice to see :sunglasses: … and the badgering her almost the same here sometimes but instead of crows with a jackdaw
And the sparrowhawk that flew within 2 meters in front of my face 9 years ago while I was sitting in the doorway of my parental home (also in the city) and grabbed a bird (sparrow) 2.5 meters in front of my feet and went 4 meters away picking while I was watching made a big impression…those battles in nature remain beautiful :sunglasses:

oh my goodness, thanks for the memory of your chimney adventure, that was really cool that you captured it on image and video :sunglasses: :sunglasses: :sunglasses:
My chimney stories only consist of flown in blackbirds and great tits and sparrows where I grew up

Chickens are fenced in not caged, so they occasionally jump over into the garden if their wing feathers get too long.

2 wild rabbits in the courtyard yesterday evening.

Then you may have had a bit of luck with the chicken

the summer 3 or 4 years ago it almost went wrong with my neighbor’s guinea pigs … the sparrowhawk (I think) was waiting as if on the ledge while she was inside… and the 2 guinea pigs were sitting in the open grass with a fence around them (2 by 2 meters) … he was already ascending (descending) and I was shouting and waving my arms (close to 2 meters but a fence wood between us)… it was close …very close … Sometimes I wonder if I did the right thing, because what a different story to tell

After a long search I found only 2 photos of the last one in the front garden 2021…

Our cat is not a hero and has been meowing behind the back of the sofa all this time, but did not dare to sit on the windowsill… :see_no_evil: :joy:

Now a days the front garden looks like a jungle (some people call it maybe different ,but the are living hedgehogs, frogs and I don’t know what else

oo you live in such a beautiful place :sunglasses:, tawny owls in the second part of the night I haven’t heard them here for 2 years, not very wooded but close by so I was just lucky in the first 7 years here, and they have left us, I miss that enormously

Hi Brian, @brianlarsen
My wife asked why on earth I looked up a photo of the Judas Medal on the internet…Instead of looking to the side… :see_no_evil: :scream: :see_no_evil:

This has been here for a year and a half or so :see_no_evil:

laughing at your neighbor …I’m laughing out loud about this now

so true and

so true

Extra happy now by your post and because I thought my legs were getting a lot worse again, everything was getting more tired, including my arms… it turned out this weekend that my front wheels could hardly turn anymore, the bearings were completely worn out :scream:… I just did drive 2 minutes in home and garden
immediately when the technician was gone …WOW  , almost dangerous, so fast and easy  … Uhhh that reminds me that my strings need a change/ replacing I was :upside_down_face: when I checked the date …I dont dare to say how old they are :see_no_evil:

Thanks Andrea for the laugh   :lotus:

Today I “complained” that we hardly do Halloween here in the Netherlands and have never seen anything in my neighborhood… and and and …There are just children at the door :flushed:… no candy in the house so I don’t feel like doing the trick so had only to give a few euros :see_no_evil:… No no no really not necessary, the two of them shouted, we are starting the tradition they said… aaa the darlings, but they get the money anyway… you never know with those small people

Here down under is an old creation of my girl during a craft afternoon…

Have a great night all and keep having fun as much as possible ,

Greetings a take a treat :jack_o_lantern: :sunglasses: :jack_o_lantern:

:jack_o_lantern: :jack_o_lantern: :jack_o_lantern:

Due to a computer malfunction yesterday I could no longer place my “Treat” underneath and a quick and “wink” way of updating my LL was no longer possible on October 31… this post that I occasionally post look back, it will remind me in time next year that I have to have something to give away to the children and have to put a pumpkin in front of the window so that they know that they can ring the bell here…
:jack_o_lantern: :jack_o_lantern: :jack_o_lantern:
So this should have been included yesterday .

Update my latest AVOYP …Boom Bass Blues Song
