Wow !
Think that acoustic DBRR could be better than the original, so much raw power !
I was positively surprised by the unplugged version!
They are definitely a band worth seeing live. The gig I went to was so much fun, and they really gave it all. If you can drive to Paris, they are in your neck of the woods next Friday, I highly recommend!
Thatās perfect timing. I am just waiting for a my copy of āFrank & Co - conversations with Frank Zappaā book to arrive. My knowledge of Zappaās music is very limited, so thank you for sharing!
You might want to check out the movie āZappaā. A documentary which is very well made and informative. Bill, I forget his name of āBill and Tedā fame directed it.
Bit of a long haul from here and the OMs Saturday, Iāll make do with videos

Youāre welcome That book looks interesting, Iāll try to track it down.
Actually, Zappa played once in my hometown in 1991 (with Hungarian musicians to boot) and there used to be a club in the city named after him.
Iām really enjoying their new album Adi. Some great tracks on there but yes, this one is a banger.
Did you get yourself a bubble gum pink one?
I would if I had a vinyl player for now I will enjoy the Spotify version and I do like the album too, wasnāt amazed at first but after few attempts I like most songs than not
Yeah, they do help donāt they. I find that with a few of their albums, they do tend to be growers.
Chris Buck has permission from the Gods to wear a man bun for the rest if his life. If you donāt know the band, hopefully youāll check them out. Chris has been a star for a while, but the band is going to catch up. As Chris says, twelve years in the making.
Never give up. https://youtu.be/dDtW9luhxyo
Couple of treadmill teasers off my 81/162 BPM playlist for this mornings 2 miler. Leaving it on shuffle always presents a surprise, as the list were all set up years ago in the early iToon daze.
Had to go find the Hyde Park version after the run, playlist has the studio version
And a nice way to wind things up the last 4 minutes. Again this time a great live version from the En Vivo album.
Well that was fun for sure and reminded me how old I am getting. Completely forgotten about Hall and Oates over the years but shoot thatās a lot of years. Nice share.
I use to watch Darylās house a lot. The musicians heās had on cover the full spectrum and always have a good time.
I very much doubt it was broadcast this side of the pond. Had to look it up. But I think it started in 2012 and we were just settling in over here back then, so I guess it could have been on one of the UK satellite channels but certainly no bells ringing. Lots of people on the shows that Iād never heard of, when I checked the episodes. So as you say full spectrum. Walsh is always top dollar !

Great list but one jumped out and I need a lullaby LP to send me off but its likely to have the opposite effect. What the heck.
My favorite is his Classic āDonāt Eat Yellow Snowā.
I still have his poster of him sitting on the toilet. (Yes, Iām a child of the 60ās) (so to speak).
