Both of these really appeal to different aspects of my musical soulā€¦ I love malagueƱa & aspire to play it wellā€¦ Alison Krause has a voice that is amazingā€¦ this is my favorite song of many that I love by her. I recently discovered the duets she & Robert Plant do togetherā€¦ pretty cool stuff!

At this very moment Iā€™m about 8 mins into Free Bird by Lynyrd Skynyrd. But Overall this week Iā€™ve been listening to a lot of Fleetwood Mac, 3 Doors Down, and Deftones.

Hope you enjoyed the last minute or so Ashari, assuming its the original ā€œpronouncedā€ album version. Great choice especially along with some early Fleetwood Mac.

Some good old bands there, so welcome to the Community. if you want to say hello and share a little more about you and your guitar, drop in here. In the meantime keep listening and rocking.

Cheers

They say that sheā€™s fluent in English & French but sing in about 25 languages! What a talent!
I wonder if @Silvia80 could critique her Italian for usā€¦ I always wonder when hearing someone singing in a language thatā€™s not their native tongue, whether it is ā€œgenuineā€! :joy:

Ciao Tod  in this song her italian is actually quite accurate, onlyā€¦una notte a Napoli, a night in Naples, that is not that advisable given the crime rate there :speak_no_evil:ā€¦ Capri, Portofino might be both romantic and safe as well :joy::joy::joy:

Thank you Silvia! I appreciate your assistance in find this out!

Although I think that in this Americanā€™s mind, a night in Naples sounds very romantic!!! I grew up listening to Dean Martin singing about it, as I recall thereā€™s an old movie with Sophia Loren (aaaaahhhh) and now Pink Martiniā€™s lovely versionā€¦ my hopes have been dashedā€¦ā€¦ :smiling_face_with_tear:

Andrea I suggest you stop at Santa Margherita Ligure with a backpack and buy some delicious Ligurian street food there, like Focaccia, and walk to Portofino from there; the promenade is wonderful and there are little beaches along the way for a very romantic pic-nic :joy::wink: Well, this is what honey and I can afford when we go there :money_mouth_face::grin:

Sorry about that Todd! I guess the risk is in general with big cities, but thereā€™s an objective corruption radicated from ages in the south of the country that :zipper_mouth_face: ā€¦ Iikeā€¦ :zipper_mouth_face::zipper_mouth_face::zipper_mouth_face:

Back to Musicā€¦a very accomplished artist from Naples that had a huge success in the past decades, if you like the genreā€¦

Sylvia, I really love Liguria. We visited the ā€žotherā€œ side a few years ago, Genova to Sanremo. A lot of race biking along the coast. It was amazing. I would love to visit the other part of Liguria. Wonā€˜t forget my backpack thenā€¦ā€¦

Itā€™s almost 3 weeks that Iā€™ve been actually learning to drive and today (after c. 600 minutes behind the wheel) I finally felt being (somewhat) able to pay attention to the surroundings and not just to the lane Iā€™m driving in.

I think being a newbie at the guitar was less stressful

This is what happens when you spend too much time with your guitar buddies. I donā€™t know which is more impressive the playing or the video editing.

I saw the offspring in concert about 2 weeks ago. He calls his guitar player noodles because he is always noodling around on the guitar. I played this song here as well but obviously rookie level compared to them.

Very very nice, video and acoustic arrangement. Working on the intro to Dust In The Wind at the moment, that now seems mighty tame after that !

Better grab a beer, as it launched into a 36 min mini concert after Metallica. :+1:
