What are you currently listening to 2025?

Hi there.

I just got hooked to 2 bands that I always kinda listened to but were never obsessed about if you know what I mean. The bands are Aerosmith and Oasis.

I don’t know what happened but I listed to them at the end of 2024 and something hit deeper. I just can’t stop listening to them at the moment.

Listen a lot to Mr Spiegel on Spotify but this solo performance just hit my YT feed. My Acoustic Blues has a long way to go !!

Most of his stuff I listen is his bluesy rock with the band but this was one of a couple of solo gigs tracks and I thought wow !!

I am quite predictable really, but with a performance like this in front of an estimated 200k audience it’s hardly surprising! The venue was a free concert financed by a charity, performers were not paid, they did it to support the event and charity. The stage and sound setup made Wacken open air look pretty lame!

With so much mention of the blues, here’s a great Steve Earle song that’s been covered by many performers.

Dang Mr Spiegel his hammer ons and pull offs. :fire:

Oh and that strumming at the 3:30 mark. Fantastic. I love that fast hard strumming on acoustic.

Thanks Toby

Debbie Harry. I wish I could go back and see her in her perform.

I was taking a break from blues and listening to some Breeders. Kim Deal, she was so amazing.

Two reall cool videos sort of deep cuts. Polar opposite.

On a Metric kick recently. I love me some Metric :star_struck:

If you’ve never heard of them, they are a Canadian indie rock band. Black Sheep is probably the song they are most known for, but their whole catalogue is worth an explore if you like their sound.

Her keyboard stands are cool just the raw metal style. :metal:t3:
