Fingerstyle In C - Butterfly

Hello,

I would like to share new piece I learned on my new loved little Pioneer.

I can play this piece without looking even when it does not look like that on video… I am really enjoying part where in G chord I do pull offs, it sounds just… great.

With this recording I restored my mind about cheating and I refreshed my mind that I am already working on another 2 more… one with new technique with slap and second one blues in E. I cant wait to share.

Sorry for not the cleanest F chord in the end… it is pretty challenging for me, not like first days, but still. I am not barring it, but I must have here space for pull off and hammer on without mutting strings.

Hi Michal

Great work, very enjoyable I liked it a lot, and what a great little Furch, what model is it?

@CD02 Hello Craig,

thank you. I really like sweetnest of this.

It its my recent NGD Furch Pioneer ER. You can check the thread if you want, I shared here my day one with this guitar.

Do you like Furch guitars?

I have never really looked at them Michal but was interested in the size and it’s a good sound.

@CD02 It sounds really good in real. I have just cheap microphone and I dont edit sound anyhow.
I can describe sound really mature, big and… open. Even against bigger guitars. If you have any chance to try in a store, go for it. That booster soundport on side is really something. Best to try it in silent room, so you are not disturbed by loud around store.

@DavidP Thank you very much. It is really what you are saying… biggest focus comes only to that F, but nothing extreme. I feel really relaxed.

Btw, I can see you are fixing my recorded topics to my name. Can I somehow do it by myself when I create it? I dont wanna make you more work and this is something I noticed.

That is great, and sure with more practice you’ll become more relaxed and smooth into the F chord.

The platform is setup so that only Mods can add tags to prevent a proliferation. Appreciate the consideration but it really is but a moment to add when viewing the pose which I try to do daily anyway.

Hi Michal,
Me again

That was realy that was really a wonderful piece and looked and more importantly sounded relaxed… great warm sound and so much better on acoustic than electric for my ears…
keep on going :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

Hi Michal, the butterfly got the blues in a very nice way. Very accomplished and great to listen to.

Hi Michal

Sounding very good. It would be a very valuable excercise to practice using the Thumb over the top playing the low E string for F shaped Barre Chords this opens loads of space for fancy hammerons and pull offs on the other strings. It is tricky at first but you only need to lean on the low E from the side to get it to ring out. search for thumb over F chord.

Lovely playing Michal, and I really wouldn’t have noticed the F chord thing if you hadn’t mentioned it.

Nicely done, Michal. Fingerstyle is fun, isn’t it? It’s why I mostly play a classical guitar now. Check out Andrew York on YouTube. I think you would like many of his pieces.

@Will_E_Vander Hello Will, its great recommendation. I already know this way to fret. Tommy Emmanuel is doing it always… I can remember I learned that on my first ever fingerstyle song Anouk Lost and last time I used it was in Freight Train, but I did not think about using it here.
From materials where I am learning that its like this and it makes sense to me, because before F chord shape I am holding just note C (without capo, so its B I guess with capo) and its in good position to “jump” to standard F chord shape without barring high strings, I dont need it here.

@wiredforsound Thank you for recommendation, I will check it.

Thanks all for kind comments.
